On May 1 1937, During the Great Depression, a woman threw her baby and herself off of the Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, CA. Her husband left her and his baby due to financial difficulties, feeling that he could not provide for his family anymore. Miraculously, the baby survived. It is said that the women is confused about where her child is and is searching for her under the bridge.
